Our Mission
“To provide access to quality performing arts experiences and education to all students,
regardless of age or skill level.”
About Us
The Kinetic Arts Foundation is a nonprofit association serving the Contra Costa area. We focus on facilitating access to quality arts experiences and education. Our target clients are talented students who possess a desire to succeed, but lack the resources to get the education and experiences they require. The Kinetic Arts Foundation is dedicated to these individuals – the people who deserve to feel the many and varied benefits of an education in the arts. A good education in the arts can instill creative problem-solving skills, strong teamwork, and commitment to goals; it also provides the building blocks of life-long relationships with members of a worldwide community of artists.
Since the birth of the Kinetic Arts Foundation in 2008, we have provided that imperative education and those unforgettable experiences to many students, regardless of age or experience level. As we move forward, our focus is on under-served and at-risk youth in our own community. Music lessons, acting classes, and other arts educations may provide the experiences that change the future of a troubled youth.
As a non-profit charity, we host events as well as exploring opportunities in the private sector. When examining a private arts program, we seek a several key features. To be approved by the Kinetic Arts Foundation, a program must instill a few specific values – notably dedication to goals, respect for others, motivation, and self-respect. These values must be taught alongside the basic skills involved in learning a performing art. Approved programs emphasize performing arts as healthy and safe outlets for emotions, challenges, and creativity.
