Kinetic Arts Foundation Holds 1st Annual Gala Fundraiser and Auction
March 18, 2011, Concord, California — The Kinetic Arts Foundation announces our 1st Annual Gala Fundraiser and Auction. This year’s event – “Desert Oasis” – will take place on March 18th, 2011, from 6pm-Midnight at the Crowne Plaza Concord Hotel. The program for the evening includes hors d’oeuvres, games, an auction, and live performances from award-winning belly dancers, Salena and Raks a’Diva; Al ’Azifoon, a live Middle Eastern band; and several students from our scholarship program and local qualified performing arts programs.
There have been troubling cutbacks affecting the teaching of art in our school system. Kinetic Arts Foundation programs promote the value of the arts in allowing creative expression, fostering outside the box thinking, and strengthening goal oriented values. The Kinetic Arts Foundation provides support for quality arts education and experiences which nurture the potential of today’s youth.
In Contra Costa County, the Kinetic Arts Foundation provides many free events, low cost classes, and tuition assistance. Our long term is to reach out to West County and East County. We want to give deserving, at-risk, and low income children a community and a place for healthy creative expression.
As a nonprofit charity, the Kinetic Arts Foundation searches out qualified private sector arts programs that instill in students a good core set of values. We look for programs that stress the many and varied benefits of participation in the arts.
This is our organization’s most critical Fundraiser to date. To become an event sponsor, please contact (510) 612-1003 to receive a sponsorship package with details. Sponsorships are available in ranges from $150-$5000. If you would like to attend the event as a guest only, tickets are a $50.00 tax-deductible donation.
